Job fraud follows people wherever hiring is informal. These are the signals.
1. Money is asked for
No genuine employer charges you to apply, to be registered, or for a security deposit. This is the clearest sign.
2. The salary is far above the market
If the number is much higher than everyone else's for the same work, ask why.
3. No company name or address
A real workshop will tell you where it is.
4. Hiring without any trial
Serious workshops test bench skills. One that does not may not be a workshop.
5. Pressure to decide immediately
Urgency is a technique.
6. Documents demanded upfront
Original certificates and Aadhaar should never be handed over before joining.
